Mendy is prepared to make his football comeback this weekend for Lorient in France.

L'Equipe states the 29-year-old is fit enough to play on Sunday against Monaco.

Mendy has not played since the time he was in the Manchester City team for a 1-0 loss to Tottenham in August 2021.
