The former Manchester City captain left England for Athletico last year.

Now 38, Fernandinho is happy with his form and eager to continue in the Brasileiro Serie A next season.

The midfielder had already announced a few weeks ago that he wanted to continue playing in 2024.

With 48 games played this past season, he feels he can continue to be useful on the pitch and in the dressing room.
