Former Juventus coach Gigi Delneri admits the sales of Sandro Tonali and Guglielmo Vicaro are major blows to Italian football.

Tonali is leaving AC Milan for Newcastle and Vicardo is departing Empoli for Tottenham.

Delneri told Sky Italia: "For Vicario it is a great result, for I would have liked to see him again in Italy. '

"Letting him go to Tottenham is a loss for Italian football.

"The same goes for Tonali, who is a key player for Milan. When teams lose these players, it is a defeat for Italian football. Milan have lost a great player."
