Former Holland striker Youri Mulder has sung the praises of Anwar El Ghazi.
The former Aston Villa midfielder enjoyed a cameo for Everton in victory over Leeds United last week.
Mulder said: “It is very nice for him that he can play for a while and have the feeling that he's close to a place in the starting eleven.
"I think he's a nice player and I also think he's a good player for (Frank) Lampard.
"El Ghazi can play in both a 4-2-2 system and a 4-3-3 system. He is valuable for that squad and I think Lampard will give him minutes in the coming weeks."
