The Germany international is available from Borussia Dortmund after a season-long loan with the Cottagers.
He told Sky Deutschland: "The transfer market is not so busy yet - everything that comes, I'll weigh carefully. I'm not ready to travel anywhere in the world. That's why I'm waiting for the right offer. And that will come - I am convinced of that.
"I have a good standing in England, people like me there. That's why the Premier League is an option for me, of course. But in the end everything has to fit. After all, I am now a father of a family, because of course, you deal with the club choice a little differently than if it were all about me alone.
"In the end, everyone involved should be satisfied."
