Former Arsenal fullback Lauren is looking forward to Real Mallorca's clash at Barcelona today.

Lauren is also a former Mallorca player.

He told Marca: "What I like is that they have kept the squad [that achieved promotion]. It is true that there are home games where they have done well, apart from [Real] Betis. Away from home they have to improve. They score a few and concede a lot. There are arguments that lead you to think that staying [in LaLiga Santander] is attainable.

"You have players like [Takefusa] Kubo, who moves between the lines, who can unbalance [the opposition], Salva Sevilla, [Iddrisu] Baba... One by one, there are tools that indicate [the target of] staying up can be achieved. To put in a but, in these teams, you need a goalscorer. If you make a parallel with Alaves, they have strikers who score goals, like Joselu and Lucas [Perez]. That improves the performance of any team. Mallorca could do very well."
