Former Arsenal attacker Nicolas Pepe is excited to be a Trabzonspor player.
Pepe has been welcomed passionately by the home support and spoke to local media on Monday.
The Ivorian declared: "I thank Trabzonspor. I would also like to thank the fans for the welcome they gave me. I know the expectations are high, I think the best response will be on the field.
"We have a plan with our coach. I can play anywhere in the offensive zone. Last season I played as both number 9 and number 10, but my favourite position is right winger. I know well what (Nenad) Bjelica wants from me.
"I haven't played for 4 months due to a knee injury, but I have done an excellent prseason. I have been working with my personal staff for 10 days. I need to get some rhythm, I would like to be on the pitch against Beşiktaş.
"I had other offers from Turkey but the project presented to me by the club and the coach made the difference."
