Everton striker James Vaughan has had successful knee surgery.
The young striker has visited knee specialist Dr Richard Steadman and undergone keyhole surgery in Colorado after suffering an injury in training last week.
Everton physio Mick Rathbone told evertonfc.com: "It was a straightforward procedure concerning the cartilage. It went well and it was also noted that the knee was in good condition. He will be back playing soon."
