Everton teenager Dan Gosling has been rewarded for his good recent form by receiving his first call-up for the England U21 squad.

The 19-year old, who has been impressive playing in various roles in the Toffees first team under David Moyes, was called up by U21 coach Stuart Pearce for the clash with Portugal at Wembley this weekend.

Gosling scored the winner for Everton in the match that ended 2-1 at Upton Park on the weekend and the call-up has capped off a dream week for the Toffees academy star.
