Everton Under-21 boss Paul Tait has found that youngster Isaac Price's metrics are improving significantly.

Tait is one of many coaches who are very impressed with how Price has been developing through the academy.

Manager Frank Lampard and coach Ashley Cole are also huge fans of the 19-year-old.

Tait explained on Price, per the Liverpool Echo: "Hard work. Definitely hard work - and probably a little bit of maturing."

He added: "He's got huge belief in his own ability and he will think he should be playing for the first team every week.

“He's got that belief, and I think you need that, especially when you are playing in the middle of the pitch and you have got to take the ball in those positions. I think he shows confidence and belief all the time he plays."
