Everton are set to make a new offer for Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi.

The Gunners rejected the Toffees opening offer of £30m days before the transfer deadline.

The Mirror says Everton are "refusing" to give up on signing the Nigerian international.

This is despite them still being well in the race for Crystal Palace's wantaway winger Wilfried Zaha - who they offered a £200k-a-week deal yesterday.

Arsenal are believed to be open to selling Iwobi before today's deadline if they receive around £40m.
