Everton are close to agreeing a new deal with Abdoulaye Doucoure in the coming weeks.
The midfielder secured a one-year extension at the start of the season, but that only takes him to the end of this term.
Per Fabrizio Romano, the two parties have all but finalised an agreement on a multi-year deal.
Doucoure has become an instrumental figure for the club until boss Sean Dyche.
His goal scoring last season helped the club avoid relegation on the final day of the campaign.
"Understand agreement's on the verge of being sealed over a new contract until June 2025," said Romano on Twitter.
"Option until June 2026 will be included. Deal at final stages, set to be completed."
