Stoke City are under pressure to tie defender Robert Huth to a new deal.

The Mirror says Huth's representatives are scheduled to meet the Potters' top brass next week, with boss Tony Pulis keen to resolve the contract stand-off.

The defender has been in deal negotiations for most of the year but is yet to reach an agreement.

Everton and Sunderland are monitoring developments as the Germany international, a former Chelsea youth player, has only a year left on his current contract.
