Everton are stepping up their pursuit of Boca Juniors fullback Frank Fabra.
The Sun says Everton sent a top spy to watch Colombia left-back Fabra as they look for a new Leighton Baines.
Goodison scout Martyn Glover was spotted in Argentina last week when he went to look at the Boca Juniors defender for boss Sam Allardyce.
Fabra, 27, was also checked out by the Toffees when the Colombians beat France in a friendly in March.
Boca would want about £7.5million and the player is keen to come to a top European outfit.
Fabra's agent revealed Everton's interest earlier this month, with Serie A title hopefuls Napoli also keeping tabs.
