Everton manager Roberto Martinez has suggested that the club has reached an agreement to sign Christian Atsu from Chelsea.
The 22-year old Ghanaian winger has been heavily linked with a season-long loan move to Goodison Park and Martinez has confirmed that the deal will go ahead subject to a work permit and some required paperwork.
"Everything has been agreed with Christian - it's just a matter of finalising little details more with his work permit and personal situation," Martinez told the Liverpool Echo.
"That will probably take a couple of days to get sorted but we have an agreement in principle to make the move as a loan deal until the end of the season."
Atsu joined Chelsea from FC Porto in September 2013 before spending last term on loan with Vitesse Arnhem, scoring five goals in 29 appearances for the Dutch club.
