Everton have joined the battle for FC Dallas defender George John.
The Daily Mail says Everton boss David Moyes is in the running to sign John.
The 24-year-old American defender was due to sign for Blackburn before the transfer window closed only for the deal to fall through.
That has left John hunting another Premier League club and Wigan Athletic are also keen.
