Everton pass on deal for Wolves defender Coady

Everton have passed on taking the permanent option for Conor Coady.

Coady has been on-loan at Everton from Wolves with a permanent £4.5m option. However, Everton have announced they will send Coady back to Molineux, along with Ruben Vinagre who returns to Sporting CP.

"We want to sincerely thank Conor and Ruben for their impeccable professionalism and valuable contributions both on and off the pitch during their time with the club," said Everton director of football Kevin Thelwell.

"We wish both players the best in their futures."
