Everton name Laurence Stewart as 'senior recruitment co-ordinator'

Everton football chief Steve Walsh has added Laurence Stewart to their scouting team.

The Liverpool Echo says the former Manchester City and England analyst has taken up the role of senior recruitment co-ordinator.

Stewart started work at Finch Farm last week having left the Etihad Stadium and joins back up with former boss Walsh.

Everton's director of football worked with Stewart at Hull and was keen to add him to his new-look scouting team.
