Everton midfielder Doucoure on 'crazy' victory at Palace: Dyche making difference

Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure hailed their 3-2 win at Crystal Palace.

Doucoure scored and created Idrissa Gueye's winner on the day.

"Everyone has been able to show their quality under the manager (Sean Dyche)," said Doucoure. "Since he came in he has put a lot of energy and confidence in the team. I think we've tried to repay the faith he gives to us in the week. From a personal point of view, we have worked together well so far and I'm very happy.

"The momentum is great. We knew we didn't get the results at the start of the season but the performances were very good. At the moment we are winning games and that's the most important thing in football. Our momentum is great, the team is working so hard so we deserve to have those points."

He also said: "We're very happy. We knew it was going to be difficult at Crystal Palace but we started the game really well with the first goal. We conceded early after that but we came back in the second half with better attention. It was a crazy game but we're so happy to have the three points.

"I'm always glad to score goals. I know this isn't my first job but I'm always willing to help the team and I'm so happy for Gana to have scored that goal. I'm happy to contribute goals for Everton."
