Everton and Liverpool are both interested in signing a teenager from Germany.

Schalke 04 midfielder Assan Ouedraogo is a huge target for both Merseyside clubs.

Per Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany, the 17-year-old will be available for €20 million to clubs outside Germany.

The Reds have Jurgen Klopp who is a keen admirer of Ouedraogo's talents, while the Toffees have also been scouting him.

The player will then have to decide if he prefers the prestige of the Reds or the added playing time at Everton.

The midfielder can play all across the pitch, with his versatility a big reason he is being chased by top sides.
