Everton boss David Moyes is believed to be leading the chase for Olympic Lyon midfielder Alou Diarra.

Diarra made just 19 appearances for the French champions last season, scoring two goals. The former Liverpool midfielder is keen to leave the club this summer after what has been an inconsistent season.

The Toffees are believed to be the front runners for his signature, however, will face competition from premiership rivals Portsmouth and Italian giants Juventus.
