Everton are believed to be closing in on the signing of Leeds United's Sam Byram.
The Toffees have been showing significant interest in the 22-year-old right-back for some time now and it appears as though they will finally get their man.
Reports suggest Everton and Leeds are in advanced talks regarding a £4million transfer fee having previously been unable to agree a deal.
Leeds owner Massimo Cellino was adamant he would not let Byram go for less than £5m but Everton have been able to negotiate and will now snap up the talented full-back who comes out of contract at Elland Road at the end of the season.
Byram, who came through the Leeds youth academy, had been offered a new deal to remain with the West Yorkshire club until the summer of 2017 but is seeking pastures anew as he prepares to make the move to Goodison Park in the coming days.
