Everton have appointed former footballer Jerome Thomas as a scout, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 38-year-old, who played for the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Charlton, is the Blues' Academy Area Coordinator for London.
Thomas' is a new role that is part of the club's scouting restructure.
Chris Scudder was earmarked for the role, but he is now with West Ham United as a Talent Manager.
Thomas will report to Head of Academy recruitment at Everton, Chris Perkins.
