Former Everton star Tim Cahill has revealed that he is unlikely to be making a move back to the A-League anytime soon.
Cahill is currently plying his trade for Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua and the midfielder is expected to leave the club as his contract expires upon the end of the current domestic season in China.
It was believed that Cahill would be making a move back to Australia but the former Toffees ace has now gone on to reveal that returning to the A-League is unlikely due to the lack of interest in his services.
Speaking to Fox Sports News, Cahill said: "You can't have temptation if you've got no offers. There's never really been a relationship with me and the FFA when it comes to that, or even A-League clubs.
"There's always been a question asked of me by media but never the question asked [of] clubs or the FFA. It is what it is but it's highly unlikely."
