San Lorenzo striker Adolfo Gaich is attracting major Premier League interest.
Marca says Everton are set to bid for Gaich after he caught their eye during the U20 World Cup.
The Blues are willing to pay the San Lorenzo forward's release clause to bring him to Goodison Park.
Genoa are also credited with interest, with the player's agent Pablo Cairo quoted talking about the interest in his client.
He said, "We spoke with clubs in Italy. The Everton issue isn't clear yet. The truth is that Gaich is on the list of many clubs, but still nothing concrete.
"Looking to the future, one would like him to go through the European market. I think one has to look for that to find the fullness of the player."
