Everton face Atalanta competition for Almeria striker Toure

Everton have been assessing their chances of signing Almeria's El Bilal Toure this summer.

Per The Mail, the Toffees have been speaking with the player and his representatives.

However, no formal offer has gone in for the attacker, as Serie A side Atalanta also register their interest.

The Italians see Toure as someone who can replace Duvan Zapata and Rasmus Holjund, who are both being linked with moves away from the club.

Everton will have to work hard to secure this transfer, especially in their present financial situation.

The Toffees have run afoul of Premier League financial regulations, which means they must sell players this summer.
