Everton are eyeing Southampton right-back Cedric Soares.

The Sun says Everton are hot on the chase for Cedric.

The Toffees are preparing a £15m bid for the Portuguese defender, after Marco Silva dropped Seamus Coleman for their most recent game with Leicester on New Year's Day.

“After his injury it's always the same, if the guys who play in your position do it well you are out and you have to wait," said Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.

“At the moment he stands behind. If he gets a chance he must show he deserves to play."
