Everton defender Mason Holgate admits they're in a false position after beating Chelsea last week.
It was the first game after the sacking of manager Marco Silva.
Holgate has already had six managers at Goodison Park since signing from Barnsley in 2015 and also saw Darren Moore sacked at West Brom during his loan spell there last season.
"Any time there is a new manager, in any league, there is a reaction," he says. "As players, we have to put in 100 per cent and get behind whoever has the job. Everton is a massive club and will always attract top managers. It shouldn't really affect us.
"We showed against Chelsea we can get a result against a top team. Whether it's home or away, it shouldn't make any difference and I don't see why we shouldn't have the same performance at United. They have unbelievable players but if we get our tails up, I don't see why we can't get at them."
