Everton defender Mason Holgate admits he has captaincy ambitions.
However, Holgate has no intentions of usurping current club skipper Seamus Coleman just yet.
“Obviously that would be a massive, massive honour," the Toffees defender said when asked if he hopes to be named captain in the future during a Q&A with fans on the official club website.
“It would be great to do that but at the moment we've got Seamus [Coleman] who's a fantastic captain and has helped me massively ever since I've been at the club and done so many things for me. I think the whole changing room has got so much respect for him.
“So to learn off him and have him as a captain at the moment is great and I think the whole changing room can say that and vouch for that themselves."
