Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is signing on-loan for PSV Eindhoven.

PSV state oly a medical to be completed before he is an official member of the first-team squad.

The 20-year-old was not included in the Blues' 32-man squad that flew out to America on Monday as a precaution.

The Dutch side have now issued a statement stating transfer talks are now 'in the final phase', with the youngster currently in Eindhoven to complete his medical. Once this process has been finalised, a player presentation will follow.

PSV released an image of Branthwaite wearing a club shirt to accompany their update regarding their pursuit of the defender while adding he is in attendance for the club's friendly match versus Villarreal this evening.
