Everton defender Branthwaite eases talk of early PSV exit

Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has tried to end speculation he could leave PSV Eindhoven this winter.

The centre-back has been with PSV on loan since the start of the season, given he was surplus to requirements at the Toffees.

He has played 12 games for Ruud van Nistelrooy's team so far this term.

Even though a report in England stated the loan would be cut short for him to return to Everton, while speaking to Dutch publication Eindhovens Dagblad he stated:

“This is just a very nice club, PSV. There are many committed people who want to form a family club together.

“I ended up in a pleasant team.

“This is a beautiful environment for me in all respects and, moreover, this competition is a good stage for further growth as a footballer.

“I am very satisfied here."
