Everton are confident of securing a deal for Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.

The Brazilian centre-back is a wanted property, with some of the Premier League's top clubs interested.

The Toffees have the most concrete interest, but Arsenal and Chelsea are also linked.

However, the Telegraph suggests that Everton will tie up the deal as soon as the transfer window opens in the summer.

The 22-year-old has all but agreed a move to the Merseyside club, as it is where he can get the most first team opportunities.
