Everton boss Marco Silva has intimated he wants to keep hold of Idrissa Gueye.

The midfielder is again being linked with a move to PSG this week.

But Silva told the club's website: "It is easy for you to understand how Gana has been really important for us since the beginning of the season. And he was last season also.

"He is having a really good season, he is doing well. But, of course, I will always want more and he is a player I believe can do better and better things, better decisions also because he is a talented player.

"Gana is really aggressive, he is fast in both transitions and it is important for us. With him there we can have the other players freer to support the attack but he has the quality [in attack] also.

"[We want him to be] playing forward more in some moments because he has this quality and it can help us even more."
