Everton boss David Moyes is exploring ways of curtailing Jo's season-long loan from Manchester City.

The Brazilian striker has been suspended by Everton after going AWOL over Christmas.

Asked if an apology would help, Moyes said "No" and added: "I spoke to him on Thursday, so he is aware of exactly where he stands."
