Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi is facing three weeks out with an ankle injury.

Iwobi was visibly upset when breaking down during Everton's FA Cup defeat at Manchester United.

The Blues released a statement today, declaring: "Scanning results on Saturday confirmed an ankle injury, which will be treated conservatively by the club's medical team at Finch Farm."

In doing so, Iwobi will miss two games in the Premier League against Southampton and West Ham.

If everything goes according to plan, Iwobi can make a comeback in early February when Arsenal visits Goodison Park.
