Alan Shearer says England's 2-1 loss to Iceland at Euro2016 is the worst display he has ever seen from the national team.
Roy Hodgson's Three Lions were humiliated by the Nordic minnows in the Round of 16 in Nice on Monday night, prompting the following reaction from former star striker Shearer.
"It was the worst performance I have seen from an England team. Ever," he told BBC.
"They were out-thought, out-fought, out battled. Totally hopeless.
"Roy was making it up as he was going along. How could he pick (Jack) Wilshere, who has played so little football all season, and who he took off in the last game?
"How could he be deemed good enough to come on at half-time and change the game?"
