Espanyol striker Braithwaite hails ex-Barcelona teammate Dembele: I've never seen anyone like that

Former Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite is happy with his move to Espanyol.

Speaking with Cataluyna Radio, he was reluctant to discuss his departure, although he did say that "people don't know everything, they read the press and it's not true what was said. It's the past and now I'm happy".

Braithwaite preferred to stress that "I have a lot of positive things about Barcelona in my head, now I'm here, where I want to be".

The Dane added that the offer from Espanyol "came at the perfect time" and that staying in Barcelona was a decisive factor: "My family likes it a lot and it's important to continue living here".

Braithwaite also insisted at Barca that Ousmane Dembele "makes more of a difference than (Robert) Lewandowski", although he did qualify that the Pole "scores a lot of goals, I'm happy for him, he's a great professional. I wish him all the luck to have a very good season, but now I'm here to win at Espanyol".

As for Dembélé, he added that "Ousmane is a very good chap, I like him a lot, he has enormous talent, I've never seen anyone like that. Messi is something else, but I've never seen anyone like Ousmane".
