Espanyol starlet Kenneth Soler is being watched by Real Madrid.

Marca says the recent signings of Reinier from Flamengo and Hugo Vallejo from Malaga has further demonstrated Los Blancos' newfound emphasis on youth.

Now, Madrid are intent on landing 18-year-old winger Soler from Espanyol, and have sent scouts to track the teenager in U19 games.

Kenneth began taking his first steps in the EFB Calafell academy, from the Catalan town by the same name in which he was born.

From there, he went to the Fundacio Vilanova and in 2011/12 played for Barcelona's U11s before moving to Reus.

Espanyol then snapped him up and he has been developing rapidly ever since.
