Christian Eriksen believes that positive results in consecutive London derbies against rivals West Ham United and Arsenal will greatly boost Tottenham Hotspur's title aspirations.

Tottenham continued their march for the Premier League title by claiming a hard fought 2-1 victory over Swansea City on Sunday and the North London outfit now prepare for two very tough local derbies against the Hammers on Wednesday and the Gunners on Saturday.

Midfielder Eriksen is looking forward to the challenge over the next few days and believes that the outcome of the games could be a deciding factor in Spurs' title ambitions this season.

The Danish star said: "These are two really intense, exciting games.

"Hopefully at the end of the week we'll be in a good position. We turned a corner [against Swansea] and we know we have the confidence going into these two games. We know it means a lot to the fans."
