Christian Eriksen is hoping to make his Brentford debut against Crystal Palace next Saturday.
It would be the Dane's first match since suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch at Euro 2020 last summer.
Eriksen has penned a six-month contract with Brentford after he was released by Inter Milan.
The 29-year-old has yet to arrive in the UK and hopes to begin working with his new teammates next week.
Saturday's trip to Everton in the FA Cup and the Bees' visit to champions Manchester City next Wednesday are expected to come too soon for the midfielder.
