Christian Eriksen has reportedly opened talks with Tottenham about a new deal at White Hart Lane.

Football Insider is reporting Spurs are prepared to increase Eriksen's wages by 30 per cent to £80,000-a-week in order to keep the Dane at the North London club.

It is understood Eriksen is set to be offered a five-year deal, which will keep him at the club until 2021 and could see him earn in excess of £22.9million during that period.

Eriksen recently told Danish television station TV3 Sport: "We are talking [about a contract], so it is coming, yes. Well, it looks positive."
