Manchester City starlet James Trafford is showing his on-ball qualities at the U21 European Championships.

The England youth international plays in goal for the Young Lions, but also impresses with the ball at his feet.

A future first team star, Trafford has earned huge praise from his teammate at club and international level - Cole Palmer.

“Did you see the one-hander when it bounced up?" Palmer told reporters after a win over Germany.

“Wow. He is so good. I've always said to him – even when we were little – that he is going to be world-class. That's what I think anyway."

“It's massive having a keeper like that who's so calm and composed," James Garner added.

“Waiting for the strikers to come and press him so we can pop out and find the spare man."
