England U21 coach Lee Carsley has rejected an approach from the Republic of Ireland.
The former Everton midfielder has been a candidate for the job after Stephen Kenny's departure.
Carsley was to be offered a four-and-half-year contract by the Football Association of Ireland.
But he has made it clear he remains committed to the U21 job and the English FA, says the Daily Mail.
It's also been suggested Carsley is a candidate to succeed Gareth Southgate as England coach after the Euros.
