England now focusing attention on Slovenia clash - Arsenal midfielder Wilshere

England will immediately look ahead to next weekend's Euro2016 qualifier against Slovenia following Sunday's 0-0 draw with the Republic of Ireland.

The Three Lions sit on top of Group E qualifying for next summer's European Championships in France and a win over the Slovenians in Ljubljana would put them in the driver's seat.

Midfielder Jack Wilshere was pleased enough with the draw with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium but insists the real test will be in the Slovenian capital.

"Today we felt we could have done better but it was one of those games where we were always looking to next weekend. We want to be ready when that one comes," said the Arsenal ace.

"I felt Ireland were tough opposition. They were ready for it and we were ready for it and at the end of the day everyone's happy with a draw.

"I think that's what we want, all the boys want to go away on their holidays and enjoy it, but before that we've got a big game.

"We want to go off with a win, we want a good performance to keep the manager happy, keep the fans happy and keep our unbeaten run going."
