England youngster Jude Bellingham has explained what manager Gareth Southgate told him after their win over Iran.

The Three Lions got their World Cup campaign off to the best possible start, with a 6-2 win over the Iranians.

Bellingham, who scored the first goal of the contest, was a constant menace in midfield.

“He (Southgate) said enjoy the wins because it would've been a different reaction had we not got that result," Borussia Dortmund midfielder Bellingham told the BBC.

“But we need to look at the next game and realize there's another challenge coming."

England take on the USA on Friday in their next group game, before finishing off the group stages against Wales several days later.
