England boss Fabio Capello revealed there was no special treatment for LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham ahead of his 100th international last night.

After the defeat to France, Capello said: "I was very happy with Beckham's game. He played like he always does and like I know how he can play.

"I substituted him because I know how he can play and I know him well, so I could see someone else.

"The landmark of 100 caps was never a problem for me. There was no ceremony in the dressing room."
