Emery admits Wolves clash important for Arsenal to connect supporters

Arsenal manager Unai Emery admits that his side have to mend some fences with the club's supporters against Wolves this weekend.

The Gunners face a tricky home clash against a side that caused them a lot of problems last season.

They are coming off a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace and cannot afford to drop more points in the race for the top four.

There are some doubts about the Spaniard's long term future at Arsenal, especially in light of the controversy surrounding his captain Granit Xhaka.

And Emery spoke about the upcoming game and its importance in the context of their season.

"We are going to play at home with our supporters. The same objective is to win," he told reporters

"Above all, we need in that 90 minutes in the game to connect with our supporters. It is very important."
