Eintracht Frankfurt have upped their offer for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.

The Uruguay international is available from the Gunners after spending last season on-loan with Atletico Madrid.

Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio reports Eintracht Frankfurt have followed up last week's offer with an improved proposal.

For his part, Torreira is eager to see his future settled this week.

The 25-year-old would prefer a move to Serie A, where Fiorentina and Lazio are interested. Torreira is under contract with Arsenal until 2023.
