Dyche: Why I rate Man City boss Guardiola ahead of Liverpool's Klopp

Former Burnley boss Sean Dyche admits he rates Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola ahead of Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp.

Dyche was speaking on Ben and Kammy's Proper Football Podcast about which boss is the best when it comes to managing their players on a personal level.

"The biggest respect I have, particularly for Pep, no disrespect to Jurgen Klopp because he's done an amazing job as well, but with Pep it's like managing 25 companies, that's not just 25 players, it's 25 mini companies with brands, agents and PR representatives, it's like a mini company," said Dyche.

"It's not tactics, it's about managing people and he's done it exceptionally well."

Dyche recently revealed he is a Liverpool fan and shared how he met Anfield great Kenny Dalglish in 'bizarre circumstances'.

Dyche said: "“Weirdly, I was in the Championship and he was at a Preston game, can't remember why he was there, he was just there and tapped me on the shoulder and said, 'alright Sean'. I met him another time when I was at Anfield. It's just that weird thing they say don't meet your heroes but Kenny is a proper legend."
