Dutch great Ruud Krool is confident Frenkie de Jong can be a success with Barcelona.

The Ajax midfielder will move to Barca this summer for a free rising to €86m.

Krool told : "I already know that Barça will bring a lot to him. He will learn and progress. He has not yet reached his full potential, and he is able to raise his level a little more.

"During the first months, he will have to adapt to the Barça system. But he has many qualities to succeed there. Maybe not immediately, because there will also be a new lifestyle and new habits that differs from what he knows in the Netherlands. There will be a lot of changes in one go. It will not be easy, but he has everything to be a good player for Barça."
